Taskbar Color Effects is a convenient little tool that will help you change the color of the taskbar, giving it the tasteful, customized look you always wanted. It will enhance your computer's desktop and make you feel more cozy.
Taskbar Color Effects will allow you to chose the color you want your taskbar to have. It comes with 16 predefined colors, but you may also create your own colors using the advanced options. Furthermore the software will enable you to set the transparency rate of your chosen color. You can even insert a shadow and then chose its level of transparency.
Taskbar Color Effects has the advantage of being portable; you don't need to install it. All you need to do is extract the zip archive and the application will be ready to run. Another good thing about this software is the fact that it has a very friendly interface that anyone can easily use. Simply click on the color you want and, if you want to, drag the pointers along the transparency and shadow bars. The tool will immediately make the desired changes and your taskbar will have the pleasant, customized look that you wanted.
Taskbar Color Effects has another useful feature that will allow you to place a picture, instead of a simple color, as a background for your taskbar. You will be able to stretch or center it and just like with the colors you can set the transparency rate and shadow level.
