STGThumb also lets you convert from several formats and apply special effects for better quality thumbnails.

- Converts from many image formats (AVI; MPG; JPG; JP2; J2K; J2C; TIF; PNG; BMP; PCX; WMF; EMF; ICO; CUR; PSD) to JPG.
- On AVIs and MPEGs, you get thumbnails of the first frames.
- Auto-rotates images to get a better fit.
- You can apply special effects to the thumbnails: Blur, Sharpen, Emboss, Grayscale, Black and White, Drop Shadow or Fuzzy Blur.
- Generate HTML albums in seconds. You just pick the images and STGThumb generates thumbnails and multiple HTML pages. Several album types available.
