Even though there are some applications available on the Internet that can help you do that, most of them tend to become a bit more complicated to use or come with various limitations. But that is not the case when talking about the lightweight Ssetup.
Ssetup is a handy piece of software that allows you to quickly create distribution packages for your applications (or any other type of files that you have stored on your computer) as ZIP or EXE archives. Furthermore, with the help of this handy tool you can copy your files in any desired location as well as in the Windows directories, create a group for them and start the application in a simple manner. In order to do that, the first thing you will need to do is to copy the "Setup.exe" file to the directory of your application. Then, after you have launched Ssetup, you can start customizing the installation by accessing the "Edit Design" from the top left corner of the interface (double click on it).
Ssetup provides you with various ways in which you can configure your installation. Besides allowing you to select the target and the group of your application, this practical piece of software also lets you choose what to do during the installation (copy the files to the desired location, copy system files, documents, icons, make additional directories, or even create an autorun), edit the Readme and License files as well as the Logo picture and you can set your output to be in ZIP format, create an EXE from it (self-extract archives) or even create disk outputs (like disk 1, disk 2, disk 3, etc.). Keep in mind that, in order to add files to your installation you can either press the "Auto Make" button (it will add even the files found in any sub-directories) or you can manually do that in a simple and intuitive manner.
Once you have finished customizing and configuring your installation, simply return to the main interface and start the it (Ssetup will check if you have available disk space on the selected partition). You will also be provided with the possibility to easily uninstall your application at any given time with just a few clicks.
