RequestTrace - free, portable and easy to use Windows application for tracing IRP's.
Editor's Description
RequestTrace is a tool for tracing your Windows' IRP's (I/O Request Packet). All you have to do is select in the list of the left side the driver class which you want trace. You can make a right click on a driver class to re-enum this class. In the middle, all hooked devices are listed. For each hooked device you can specify the trace options.
'UpperFilters' and 'LowerFilters' will work only in Windows 2000 and above, RequestTrace is only working on 32 and AMD64 bit versions of Windows 7, Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000. Windows 98 doesn't work, because I'm using an function which is not available in Windows 98.
All output is visible in every debugger, like DebugView, SoftIce or WinDbg.
RequestTrace is free to use and is made available in portable format; simply extract the contents of the archive and run the executable.
