ReclaiMe provides a powerful, straightforward and easy to use solution for recovering your deleted, formatted data. All you have to do is select a device you wish to recover data from and press Start; ReclaiMe will then analyze data and display in a browser style all data for you to preview. Files and folders are comprehensively grouped helping you easily get underway. You can save an individual file/folder or all data except searches.
ReclaiMe displays the following information:
- Model name - for the logical and the physical drives.
- Size - for the logical and the physical drives.
- Volume label - for the volumes (logical disks) if such a label exists.
- Filesystem type - is displayed for all the devices if ReclaiMe was able to determine the filesystem type (read more about filesystem types).
- Connection type ("USB" for USB devices).
- Whether the drive is healthy or not - for all the devices according to the color of the corresponding icon.
ReclaiMe uses specific icon for each device type:
- for a typical hard drive,
- for a device connected via USB, FireWire, or eSATA
- for a complex volume or a disk array,
- for a disk image file.
