Going to the Chemistry classes during high school or middle school with a perfectly preserved periodic table of the chemical elements wasn't that easy as it is now. In the old days, the only options were to either draw the table on a piece of paper that you had to make sure it didn't got torn apart or damaged in any other way, or use the small table that came with the Chemistry book. Nowadays, with the help of technology, students can easily view the periodic table on their laptops, computers, hand held devices or even mobile phones, all with the help of applications like the useful QPeriodicTable.
QPeriodicTable is a very easy to use piece of software, written in Qt4, that allows you to view the periodic table of the elements (along with all of their basic proprieties), all of them differently colored, according to their corresponding group. But that is not all. This handy application also lets you view when each of the currently known elements were added to the table, starting from the year 1600, and you can easily view how each element changes its state of matter at different temperatures (in Kelvin). This can prove to be very useful, because you can view any desired chemical element and its proprieties in an instant.
In addition, QPeriodicTable comes with a search function that will help you quickly find any chemical element in a matter of seconds. This way, you won't have to find the desired element by observing the whole periodic table. You will only have to type either the element's name or its symbol and voila, the desired element will instantly appear on your screen.
