Previously called dsRun, Pretty Run is a small and handy application that can search your start menu, desktop or any other folder for shortcuts. For example, you know you have a calculator shortcut somewhere in your start menu you just can't find that shortcut very fast as there are too many shortcuts in your start menu. Run Pretty Run, type calc and Pretty Run will show you all shortcuts that contain calc.
Pretty Run quickly searches start menu, desktop or any other folder for the shortcuts or files that meet your query.
With Vista Windows got their own search box. But Pretty Run offers much more:
- Search Internet Explorer favorites
- Search Firefox bookmarks
- Search Chrome bookmarks
- Search printers and start printer properties
- Search Control panel items
- Setup internet search engines and you can search internet with selected engine
- Remember last items copied to clipboard and bring them back in case you need them
