The playlists are an extremely important part of any audio playing software. If it weren't for the playlists, the listening experience wouldn't be as satisfactory as it is. Nowadays, pretty much every software and every music or video website offers the possibility to create or manage playlists. And yet, as common as they are, the playlists can still be improved a lot in order to fullfill the exact needs of every individual.
Playlist Creator is a smart software that comes to enhance the functionality of the common audio playlists, in the widely-spread PLS and M3U formats. These formats are mostly associated with WinAmp, which is, as you probably already know, the most popular audio player software for Windows in the world. And even if it's so famous and successfull, WinAmp lacks comprehensive playlist management abilities, especially in its earlier versions (the older than 5.5 ones).
Playlist Creator makes the creation and the management of PLS and M3U playlist a much easier, powerful and comprehensive job.
In order to provide compatibility with a wide variety of hardware and software, Playlist Creator can create playlists both in PLS- and M3U-format.
With its help you may easily create playlists of your favorite music in just a few seconds. This neat tool also supports drag and drop, readout of tags from all media files, a large number of predefined file types, user-defined file types, open and edit existing playlists, etc.
Playlist Creator makes the composition and creation of a playlist really intuitive and simple: you just have to add all desired files, enter a name for the playlist and select its save location. That's all.
You don't have to recreate your playlist every time you want to make changes to it. Just open the existing playlist file, make the changes you want and save the playlist. It's as simple as that!
Moreover, Playlist Creator also makes combining several playlists into a single large playlist a really simple task too: just insert as many existing playlist files to your current playlist as you like and save the playlist. Done!
Playlist Creator also comes with many handy additional features, such as the readout of tags - Playlist Creator can read the tags of all of your media files and use the data for customizing the playlist.
It also features high processing speed, even with activated readout of tags, thanks to the support of the powerful open source library MediaInfo.

your music files with style by using drag and drop from Windows Explorer.
Furthermore, the folders can be added recursively, i.e. the folder and all its subfolders. This feature allows you to add your entire music collection via a single drag and drop action.
Dynamic Titles are supported. The user can easily define dynamic title variables in order to use tag data for customizing the playlist output.
The playlist items can be saved absolute or relative to the save location of the playlist. Many predefined file types are supported - there are a lot of predefined file types which can instantly be added to the playlist and the user has full control over this function, including adding custom file types that are missing to the list of accepted file types.
