Adobe's PDF (Portable Document Format ) is one of the most popular interexchangeable document formats online. One of features that make PDFs so wide used is that it is able to render the same layout on any device: contains the text, fonts, graphics, and other information needed to display it.
If you want to use the popular format to send your photographs to your family and friends you need first to convert them into PDF files first. In comes PDF Gallery to help you do just that.
PDF Gallery is a free, lite solution designed to help users create image galleries inside PDF files with the minimum of effort. With this application you will be able to convert images to PDF in under a minute. So needless to say that PDF Gallery is fast.
Creating PDF galleries take just a few steps that can be further extended depending on the user's need.
Start by running the program; notice that PDF Gallery is project based. This offers the possibility to use the same settings and convert files by just opening a previously used project. A feature designed to save user time.
Add the images that you wish to convert to the PDF extension. Add them one by one or a whole folder containing graphic files. It supports popular picture formats such as JPEG, PNG and BMP. Change the position of the images in the list using the Move Up, Move Down buttons respectively. You can also clear the whole list of entries or remove files one by one. Note that the order displayed in the list will remain the same if you choose to convert them all into a single file.
From the Options menu you can choose the margin size and whether to save in the same folder or not. Change the small image output by stretching them and whether to save every image to a separate PDF file or the whole list into a single one.
Access Make PDF to choose the output folder and file name. Press Make PDF and go ahead with the conversion.
PDF Gallery allows you to add your images via drag and drop actions, you can also choose page orientation as well as offset.
