Ever wondered what's behind all those sounds being played on your computer and exactly how they look ? This next little tool is build with that thought in mind.
Pc Audio Visualizer is a cool, lightweight application that allows users to view the sound being played on their PC using waveforms. The utility captures all audio content from a user defined source and displays it in real time.
Pc Audio Visualizer works for any type of audio whether a track played in your default program, movie, game, you name it. You can distinguish by watching the highs and lows of the waveform different types of instruments used, voices and more.
Once you start off Pc Audio Visualizer, it will automatically run provided the settings are correctly in place. If not, simply select the most appropriate device from the drop down list (microphone, line in or other sources). Graphical output is available for both the left and right channels. Users can also input the FPS value, that is frames per second or number of frames to be captured per second. You may adjust the FPS using the slider or entering the exact value you want.
Whenever you want to stop displaying the waveform, press Stop; likewise for starting it again with the Run button. You can set it up to run on top of any other application.
