This software can also display local ports and IP addresses, remote ports and IP address, process paths and process names, helping you to verify unknown entries and detect malicious actions.
But the beauty of MyPorts 2011 is the fact that it also offers two useful lists, one containing ports used by trojans to access local stations and the other one containing the ports used by obtrusive services. So, whenever you bump into a suspicious activity, you can immediately confront its port with the given list and take the appropriate actions.
By selecting the "Automatic scan" option, you will determine MyPort 2011 to activate a 2-second scan and have some up to date port stats. You can also choose to receive details only about permanently open TCP ports.
