Nowadays, the main usage of a screensaver is for entertainment, rather than protecting the CRT or the plasma computer monitors (prevent screen burn-in), and finding the right one for you is close to impossible, due to their very large number. If you are interested in amazing 3D screensavers, then you will definitely enjoy MentalGrid.
MentalGrid is a three dimensional animated screensaver that will let you view various rotating, twisting and bright multicolored shapes on your monitor screen that will stay active until you will press any key from your keyboard (moving the mouse won't end it).
Compared to the standard screensavers that the Windows operating system offers you, the MentalGrid allows you to modify several settings so that you can make it appear as you see fit. You can easily set to view onscreen information like the current time or the frames per second (FPS), modify bloom settings (effects) and texture angles or you can even add a floating text with various parameters such as font, color, shadow or position. And, in order to customize your screensaver, you will simply have to follow the same steps as you normally would when dealing with any other screensavers.
Other than that, not much more can be said about MentalGrid, besides the fact that you can launch it from either the automatically created shortcut on your desktop or you can set it to activate after a certain idle time (standard screensaver behavior).
