If you have just purchased a brand new LCD monitor then you might consider running a few tests on it to make sure it is running as it should be. One of the malfunctions you should be testing against are dead pixels; dead pixels can be a real nuisance regardless of their position on the screen. Luckily, if you discover them in time (warranty period), then you can simply return the LCD monitor and have it replaced.

What is InjuredPixels and how can it help you ?

Standing at just 40 KB, InjuredPixels is a lightweight tool that provides a powerful functionality: it allows you to detect defective pixels on LCD monitors doing some simple tests. Using it is extremely simple: just run the executable and you will notice that the screen is filled with a primary color. Right click and you will get instant access to multiple commands and colors or just press numpad keys. Change the screen color to a custom one of your liking.

Available as a pop-up menu, InjuredPixels proposes a simple and efficient method for detecting dead pixels.

InjuredPixels is free to use and requires no installation.
