Hosts Tray is a little freeware application that will enable you to quickly and easily open with Administrative privileges the hosts file (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) and edit it.
This program is extremely simple, small and lightweight. Once it is installed, it starts everytime Windows is booted and it unobtrusively resides in the system tray. You will be able to right-click its icon and select the option “Open Hosts File” to open the hosts file with your preferred file editor (by default it is used Notepad.exe).
This is pretty much all of it. There are no intricate menus or settings, just an easy and quick way to open and edit the hosts file.
Hosts Tray is also completely freeware.
