File Transfer Protocol (FTP) has been around for four decades now and is a standard network protocol designed to facilitate file transfer between hosts via a TCP based network. FTP Disk has been created out of the need for conveniency and simplicity; the application features an attractive and elegant design with a powerful set of features and functionalities. It allows a comprehensive management of your FTP servers with the ability to add as many as you want, simple and intuitive browsing through directories, download, upload data, change file and folder permissions and edit or view contents.
As for the graphical user interface, things have never been easier; the familiar looking layout is made up of two panels with handy breadcrumb navigation above each; you can create favorites at any point and jump to them directly whenever you need to upload or download data. The toolbar provides quick access to some of the most used functions like opening and closing a connection, download and upload files or folders, edit / delete data and information related to a piece of data and not only; change filename, owner, group, read / write / execute permissions.
Right click context menu actions are available to speed up your work. Drag and drop actions are supported for the very same reason.
