Free TVDb is a powerful utility that allows users to manage TV series, anime and cartoons in a comprehensive and well organized manner. It contains multiple automation features to help save time and provide all the information that you will ever need to know about your favourite show.
Free TVDb parses data from the thetvdb.com website making it possible to get movie data without having to open an Internet browser.
Free TVDb's interface is the core of the program, successfully combining functionality and ease of use. It includes a tree like structure where you can keep track of series sharing the same genre.
In order to start adding a show, simply input the title into the search field. Should there be more then one result, they are supplied with both different ID and the year if was first aired. Select the appropriate title from the list, suitable category and press Add series to database. Once you check your newly added entry you will realize Free TVDb will have added a complete set of series and individual episode information for you to browse organized with the help of a built-in tab system: episode number, title, whether you have watched it or not, date it was aired on, rating, director, writer, genre, pg, location, network and overview. Cast is also available with the help of which you can further explore actor information. View posters, fan art and series trailer. You can also playback related videos from YouTube.
