Font Matching Tool lets you easily find a font from a sample graphic.
If you ever wanted to quickly find a font just like the one used in logos, newspapers or book titles, or you have an image, but you haven't got a clue what font is used, then Font Matching Tool can help you, as this smart tool will browse through your system fonts, folders or its font database to find the font you need or just similar with character(s) cropped from an image.
Moreover, Font Matching Tool comes with a few built-in tools for image editing which will help you to prepare an image for character(s) cropping. The most important tool is screen capturing tool. It enables you to crop and automatically import an image directly into Font Matching Tool editing area as gray-scaled image.
More features:
- Preview of filtered fonts with default font viewer
- Sample text with various sizes, styles and colors
- Copy filtered fonts to the selected folder
- Pick up any color value from the image for sample text and background colors
Limitations:
- In trial version, you cannot create and search for font from database and only uppercase characters and lowercase characters from 'a..e' are allowed for comparing. In registered version you can compare any Unicode character with character from a sample graphic.
