FixAuto is a simple little freeware that helps you restore, fix and tweak various Windows tools and settings such as the Task Manager, regedit, msconfig, autorun.inf, etc.
FixAuto is a great solution to restore various Windows items when they have been disabled as the effect of a virus or other malicious software (restore the Task Manager, the regedit, etc.)
FixAuto can also fix the Internet Explorer, the system time or the network connection when the system can not detect the DHCP, WINS, IP, DNS settings.
This handy little freeware also provides some effective block functions, such as block the autorun.inf file which may be used by viruses to infect your system through your USB devices. FixAuto also lets you turn on or turn off the autoplay on all drivers.
FixAuto also features fake autorun.inf and Autorun.ini files - it will create autorun.inf and Autorun.ini and set permission denied to everyone on all NTFS drivers.
User Account Control is also supported - you can turn on or turn off UAC on Windows Vista.
