What is FavBackup ?
FavBackup is a simple and easy to use Windows application that allows users to automatically backup bookmarks from multiple browsers. It also has the ability to restore the backups, once saved.
FavBackup features support for a wide range of popular browsers and multiple of their versions from older to up to date. They are as follows: Internet Explorer (6, 7, 8), Mozilla Firefox (3, 3.5, 3.6, 3.7, 4, 5, 6), Opera (9, 10, 10.5, 10.6, 11, 11.5), Safari (3, 4), Google Chrome (1-10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15), Flock (2.0, 2.5).
You can fully customize the data being saved for each particular browser and select between existing profiles.
An additional ability of the program is to convert an Opera profile between 32 and 64 bits for Windows Xp, Vista and 7.
Hotkey support allows users to quickly access any functionality of the program with the help of keyboard shortcuts.
FavBackup's interface is minimalistic and comprehensive making it straightforward to use. The interface is divided among tabs: Backup, Restore, Full Backup, Full Restore, Convert. Each function is conveniently detailed to avoid any confusion.
The application requires no installation and is distributed to users in both zipped and executable versions.
