If you find yourself looking for research material for your school essay or simply browsing along and stumble upon a language you are not particular familiar to, then a translator is certainly required. Luckily dingsda is just the tool.

What is dingsda ?

dingsda is an extension for the Google Chrome browser that allows users to translate any piece of text from one language to another. Being powered by the Google Translate services, the built-in parallel search works for a wide range of languages. By default, is supports English, German, French, Italian, Dutch with the possibility of replacing the base and target languages.

dingsda works simply enough, all you have to do is select a piece of text and it will input it into the base language panel via the Paste function. The extension can automatically detect the language input for your convenience. You can also perform backward translation to check the quality of the translation.

As with most extensions, dingsda is accessible from the browser toolbar in the form of an icon, requires a minimum of disk resources and leaves a small memory footprint.

What's more, dingsda is Free of charge.
