What is DBDocuments ?

Considering the wide range of documents types available nowadays, DBDocuments has been prompt to provide support for the most popular of extensions as follows: easily import document formats such as Microsoft Word 97-2003, Word 2007 (.docx) and (.xml), rich text (.rtf), plain text (.txt), web pages (.html), electronic publisher (.epub), open office (.odt), comma separated (.csv), log files (.log), or temporary files (.tmp).

And if it wasn't enough, DBDocuments helps automate the process of document import by implementing a Wizard interface users will be able to import their documents into the database in just a few mouse clicks. As soon as all your documents are imported into the database, you can access them via the Document Selector which provides a visual container for all your files.

DBDocuments' interface is enhanced to provide an intuitive and user friendly environment with the help of the ribbon bar. Created to resemble the popular look of document editing application, this will give users a familiar workplace.

Opening a document enables other program ribbon bars and tabs. This version sports a new look and some of the tabs you were used to using in the older version have been moved around to make better use of their functionality. DBDocuments includes theme support with a wide range of beautifully designed layouts made available.

In terms of documents editing, the application has a generous range of features that you have been used to with other utilities of the same genre. Also, from the program's bar you can quickly convert documents into the PDF format, restrict file access using a password and limiting editing permissions.
