Hash functions are heavily used in cryptographic applications, utilities for checking duplicates and many more. Here is a cool implementation of multiple hash algorithms by the name of ComputeHASH Utility.

What is ComputeHASH Utility ?

ComputeHASH Utility is an application that provides a simple means for determining the hash code of multiple types of input using a wide range of hash algorithms. Has a robust, minimalistic and well designed interface.

The utility supports any type of files, text input, is able to determine and compare the hash code between two given files as well as display and create hash files.

ComputeHASH Utility includes implemention for the Adler32, Crc32, ED2K, Md4, Md5, Sha1, Sha256, Sha384, Sha512, Ripemd160, Tiger, Whirlpool hash function. Drag and drop support make it easier to add your files. Depending on your hash function selection you can have ComputeHASH Utility display one or more hash results. Export output in a choice of data format.

You can create and display *.sfv, *.md5, *.sha1 type files from within the program. Check for file duplicates with a choice of hash function used between: Sha512, Ripemd160, Tiger and Whirlpool.

Right click context menu support allows for quick copying of the hash code output.

The application requires no installation, simply extract the contents of the archive and run the executable file. It is fairly lightweight taking the minimum of disk space and resources while it runs. ComputeHASH Utility is compatible with multiple Windows versions including Xp, Vista, 7 and 8 provided you have .NET framework 3.5 or higher installed on your system.
