BenchMe provides reliable benchmark data that helps you accurately evaluate the performance of a particular storage device or compare different devices.
BenchMe is a smart tool that works with Hard drives (internal and external), SSD, USB thumb drives, Memory cards, RAID arrays, etc.
BenchMe is also impressively small, lightweight and resource-friendly. Its interface is also minimalistic, simple, easy-to-use and intuitive - any kind of user can use this tool without any hassle.
Briefly, BenchMe measures the following device characteristics:
- Linear read speed (with minimum and maximum values) in MB/sec;
- Access time in ms (minimum, maximum and average);
- Device information including device name, revision, serial number, and device capabilities;
- Device physical sector size;
- IOPS for different queue depth values.
The reported device capabilities include TRIM, HPA, S.M.A.R.T and so on.
Furthermore, the BenchMe free benchmark tool lets you quickly copy charts to a clipboard or just print the collected benchmark data.
BenchMe lists some significant device capabilities along with the bencmark chart. The features which are supported by the analyzed device are highlighted in black.
BenchMe works under Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
